Carrol Boyes studied Fine Art at the University of Pretoria, majoring in sculpture. In 1989 she started developing her range of functional art with the intention of introducing aesthetically pleasing sculptures into the home for every day use.

Her work, which is infused with her love of South Africa, is sought after both locally and abroad and has featured in world trade fairs such as Top Drawer in London as well as the Frankfurt, Melbourne, Florence and New York shows.

Despite the increased demand for her sculpture, each piece is still individually hand crafted to achieve a highly polished and unique finish.
